Recycling ADSL broadband cable modems
Every internet service provider in Australia (ISP's) issues customers with a device known as an ADSL broadband modem router. These devices look like the old dial up modems and are used to connect to your internal phone system wiring.
Modern day ADSL modems are now known as ADSL routers as they also serve as a wireless access point, hub connecting other computers and firewall.
Each internet service provider provides a router to its customers which means that over the course of the various companies you use, ADSL, Cable and wireless routers will begin to stockpile.
